“VSN is an emerging music artist that is going to hit the charts soon in the music industry. He is poised to be recognized as one of the most talented artists in Hip Hop, R&B, Rap & Pop, releasing music under his self-proclaimed label/brand “ctrlvsn.” He debuted his music on January 29, 2021, as a singer, rapper, producer, songwriter, and mixing engineer from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. VSN has been producing beats since the age of 14 and has only recently begun recording songs with his vocals. We can describe VSN’s music as a direct product of how he is feeling in the moments surrounding the time that the song is being made. In other words, music that is authentically born of a moment, feeling, or idea creates and promotes positive and freeing vibes. VSN’s creative process differs depending on the music. He’ll be driving and a melody will come to him, so he’ll record it in a voice note, listen to it again at home, come up with lyrics, then build a beat around it, and voila, a song is born. His creative process also includes going through YouTube and listening to beats until something catches his interest, and he can’t let go until his idea and the emotions he felt while listening to the beat are conveyed in the song he creates. VSN also dreamt of a song, awoke, and wrote it after talking with her family about how to approach it. This is how “State of the Union,” one of his hits, came to be. It all depends on how VSN is feeling at the time.
VSN was born in Accra, Ghana, and migrated to Canada while he was in seventh grade, where he attended junior high school in Hamilton, Ontario. He moved to Ottawa and attended high school there, where he became interested in music. VSN has also completed his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at Carleton University. That was a turning point in VSN’s music career. He met and became acquainted with @RayBeats (Ottawa’s wildest producer combo), who rekindled his interest in music creation. From there, VSN collaborated with my brother-in-law @RAHSounds and one of his friends @DariusKingMusic, who is also a brilliant producer, to record the hit tune “Rollin’,” which featured the notorious Toronto R&B duo @S4G4Music and Grammy-nominated musician @Guapdad4000. After that, VSN went on to help several Ottawa artists launch their careers in music and establish themselves in the local music scene. After that, he decided to start making his music in 2021 with what he had learned from coaching those artists.
VSN’s motivation for making music is to become the greatest music artist the music industry has ever seen to improve the lives of his family, friends, and those he will have the privilege of influencing in the future. Whether it’s through music or something else, being in the music/entertainment industry has opened many doors for VSN throughout the years. Music allows you to express yourself in a variety of ways. You can express yourself in a variety of ways, including academically, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. In essence, music can express anything you may say as a human being. That’s exciting. Even more, music allows people to express themselves more powerfully and meaningfully. And that’s a brilliant experience! VSN is devoted to his music not only because of the freedom of being able to express himself in a unique medium but also because of the ability to touch people’s hearts and minds and create vibes they can return to whenever they need or want to.
All these emotions are what VSN experiences when he listens to music by the artists he admires. This brings him great satisfaction and motivates him to produce music because he knows that someday his music can, and will, one day be able to produce similar feelings and moments for his followers and for those who closely follow VSN.
In the future, we can expect VSN to be on the list of top-influencing artists. VSN is all focused on producing more music with more good vibes. Exciting new projects and ventures are included in VSN’s plans. We hope VSN will be working with his favorite artists to bring us even better music!
