A singer commonly known by her stage name, Teresa Caravaca, was born on the 31st of March 1998. She belongs to Caracas, Venezuela.
She is currently self-producing songs and is not working with any brand. The theme of her songs is mostly Rock and Pop; however, she often tries to search for and create a mix of genres to produce songs.
She not only sings but also works as a songwriter. At the age of 10, she made her first attempt at writing a song. It was that moment when she felt the thrill of expressing one’s feeling poetically. This developed her interest in music composition, and she chose it as a career.
Her first song was released in 2018. It was related to a person whom she liked a lot. So she finds this song completely reflecting her emotions toward that person.
Creating a stage name was an easy task. She found her last name unique and came up with the idea of making it a stage name. Secondly, it was connected to her in some way.
The singer wants her audience to immerse in her song’s storyline completely. She wants to express her feelings and emotions in such a way as if the listener itself is experiencing the moment. Moreover, the music and rhythm also suit the context of the song. This makes the song look more real and lively.
Mostly, tunes and rhythms generate at any random moment. So she instantly gets to her guitar and tries bringing it onto the instrument. Then according to the melody, she writes the complete story.
Some harsh past and a difficult emotional journey made her start producing music. This way, she let out her feelings in a nicer way. At 11, she and her family left Caracas and moved to Barquisimeto. After learning English there, she moved to the USA. Since her parents were not in favor of the Venezuelan Government, they faced a difficult time. This time was a sensitive one for her. She thinks that these years have made her more confident.
Life is a big inspiration for her to create music. She finds a story in simple things. This simplicity makes her curious about this world and develops a relevant storyline for the music.
She keeps her audience motivated and gives them positive vibes through the music storyline. She creates both happy and sad songs. Even sad songs are written in a way that gives hope to the listeners. This is because she wants the listeners to know that it’s okay to cry but also wants them to know that life will be great. Conversely, happy songs are composed to share joyous moments with the audience. In short, she wants listeners to enjoy life and be happy with even the simplest stuff.
Bad Guy
[Verse 1]
Cold, heart-broken
I thought you were someone you were not
Yes, my heart was open
I trusted in the wrong guy, ‘cuz I thought he was the one
[Pre-chorus]
Lying in the
The cold pavement feels warmer than your heart
I’m shaking, trying not to cry
But I didn’t think that you were the bad guy
[Chorus]
‘Cuz this is how it rolls when
You fall for the wrong guy
I trusted him before knowing who he was
And this is how it rolls when
You fall for the bad guy
I thought he was the nice one
Now I know that I was wrong
[Verse 2]
Torn by your lies
I believed that I was loved, ‘til I met the beast inside
Bruised and shattered
You took all of my strength, to prey on my weaknesses
[Pre-Chorus 2]
Bleeding in and bleeding out
I’m trying to get back up but you broke who I was
I’m praying, the lights are out
Somehow or sometime, I’ll be able to get out
[Chorus]
‘Cuz this is how it rolls when
You fall for wrong guy
I trusted him before knowing who he was
And this is how it rolls when
You fall for the bad guy
I thought he was the nice one
Now I know that I was wrong
[Outro]
I was wrong
